Zusammenfassung

In some instances, it is useful to make the symbology of feature layers permanent to be able to share and use the same symbology in different maps or projects without having to make any changes. This article describes the workflow for sharing the feature layer as a layer file to save its symbology permanently in ArcGIS Pro.

Vorgehensweise

In ArcGIS Pro, browse to the feature layer in the Contents pane and save the layer as a layer file. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Save a layer file for steps to do this.

In ArcGIS Pro, right-click the feature layer in the Contents pane, select Sharing, and click Save As Layer File.
