Zusammenfassung
In ArcGIS Pro, once a legend is added to a layout, the appearance of the legend can be modified. This article provides two workflows to create a legend with rounded corners in a layout.
Vorgehensweise
Use one of the workflows below to create a legend with rounded corners.
Adjust the rounding value of the legend background
- Fill the legend with the desired color. Refer to the 'Fill the background by adjusting the X and Y gap values' workflow in How To: Fill the legend background in an ArcGIS Pro layout for steps to change the legend background color. The image below shows the legend background is filled. However, the corners are not rounded.
- To round the corners of the legend background, in the Format Legend pane, on the Display tab, navigate to the Background section.
- Adjust the Rounding value as desired. In this example, the Rounding value is '30%'.
The corners of the legend are rounded as shown in the image below.
Use a modified graphic rectangle as the legend background
- Draw a rectangle element in the layout and modify the corners.
- On the Insert tab, in the Graphics and Text group, select Rectangle and draw a rectangle over the legend in the layout.
- In the Format Polygon pane, click the Symbol tab, and click Symbol .
- Under Appearance, for Color and Outline color, click the down arrows to open the color palette. Choose a color for each section.
- To round the corners of the rectangle element, on the Symbol tab, click Structure .
- Expand Symbol.
- For Global effects, click Add effect, and select Buffer.
- Navigate to Symbol .
- Expand Buffer effect, and for Size, adjust the value to the desired extent. In this example, the Size value is '5 pt'.
- Click Apply.
- In the Contents pane, click to select and move the rounded rectangle element layer to position it below the legend layer. The legend is now visible over the rectangle element.
- Resize the rounded rectangle element as desired.
- Adjust the alignment of the rounded rectangle element and the legend.
- Press and hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard, and click to select the legend layer in the Contents pane.
- Right-click the selected layers, click Align, and select the alignment for the elements. In this example, Align Center and Align Middle are selected.
- In the Contents pane, right-click the selected layers, and select Group to group the layers. This allows the rectangle element and the legend to be moved and resized simultaneously.
