Zusätzliche Informationen

This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 and ArcGIS Pro 3.1.4.

Workaround

Workaround 1: Use the Make Route tool from the Modify Features pane.

  1. Activate the line feature.
  2. Open the Edit ribbon.
  3. Open the Make Route tool from the Tools group or the Modify Features pane.
  4. Leave all default parameters in place. The default Starting M value is equal to 0.
  5. Click the Make Route button. Note that the Make Route tool creates a duplicate line feature with the desired M values in the line feature class. The original line feature will contain empty (NaN) M values.

Workaround 2:

  1. Right-click on the line feature when the Edit Vertices tool is activated.
  2. Click M Value > Set From/To and assign the specified From and To M values to the start (e.g., 0) and end of the feature, respectively.

Note: If the feature class has a horizontal spatial reference in a geographic coordinate system, the M values will be in units of degrees by default. If the feature class has a horizontal spatial reference in a projected coordinate system, the M values will be in the linear units of the projected coordinate system by default. To obtain the end M value of the feature in a particular linear (length) unit when the Starting M value is 0, the shape length of the feature can be computed using the Calculate Geometry Attributes (Data Management) tool.
