Workaround

  1. To fix the incorrect X coordinate open the Calculate Geometry Attributes geoprocessing tool.
  2. Input the layer with the wrong X coordinate. Set Target Field to 'XCoord', and for Property choose 'Point x-coordinate'. For Coordinate Format select 'Same as Input', and use the GCS used when running the Median Center tool (In this case GCS WGS 1984). Note: Specify a coordinate system when using Calculate Geometry Attributes. If this is left blank then the X coordinate in the attributes table does not recalculate. For the test map package, selecting any of the options should provide the GCS_WGS_1984 coordinate system.
  3. Run Calculate Geometry Attributes, then open the attribute table and see that the X coordinate is the correct number.
