When turning on Editor Tracking in the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 portal on a feature with existing Editor Tracking fields, the following error message is returned in ArcGIS Collector, "Error code 3018: The field already exists", and published with disabled Editor Tracking.

Workaround

1. Enable Editor Tracking first within the desktop software prior to publishing if the feature already has Editor Tracking fields.
2. Open in ArcGIS Collector, and the feature loads successfully.

The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Collector Classic, or when published to the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 portal or ArcGIS Online.
