When the X or Y column of a XY Event layer is based on a feature class, publishing the map as a feature service fails staging and no analyzer warning is returned.

Workaround

Export the feature class to a table (non-geometry column) and use the table for the XY Event layer.

In an enterprise geodatabase, create a database view without the geometry column of the feature class.
