When the password for a member in an ArcGIS Online account is changed, any API key previously created by the member stops working.

Workaround

When resetting the account password, all associated API key tokens are invalidated and must be regenerated from the corresponding developer credential. Refer to https://developers.arcgis.com/documentation/security-and-authentication/api-key-authentication/api-key-credentials/#regenerate-an-api-key for more information.
