The combination of the Use Renderer and the Force RGB options in the Export Raster pane exports the output as a RGB raster with four bands. To get a three band image as an output (similar to the Copy Raster geoprocessing tool), do not use this combination and export it without choosing any of the renderer settings. However, references to a three band image for this combination is removed in the updated documentation.
