Workaround

  1. In the Catalog Pane, open the Properties of the feature class. Click Manage > Enable Editor Tracking.
  2. For the Creator field and Editor field, select the default created_date and last_edited_date from the drop-down menu. This creates new fields.
  3. When the edits are finished, save the edits.
  4. Disable editor tracking.
  5. Using the Field Calculator, copy the value of the created_date and last_edited_date into CreationDate and EditDate.
  6. Delete the created_date and last_edited_date fields.

Note: If a layer is exported from ArcGIS Online into a file geodatabase and published again in ArcGIS Online with the Keep Track capabilities, new editor names, dates, and time fields are created.
