Using the point drawing tool in ArcGIS Survey123 will not extract the layer data attributes from a point or line feature even when snapping is enabled.

Workaround

Configuring the line or area drawing tool in the map location and drawing a line or area over the feature line will bring the attribute desired in the single-line text question.
