Workaround

Create GDB > Feature Class to Feature Class tool(Input Shapefile) > Open the new Feature Class in ArcMap > Open Attribute Table > Select Options button from the bottom of the Attribute Table> Select Add Field > Fill out the form with the desired inputs > Calculate desired values into the new field > Delete unnecesary field > Values in new field remain
