Unable to edit a feature layer in ArcGIS Pro from a feature service if the layer is configured with the default value assigned to a Date field.

Workaround

1. In ArcGIS Online, add a new field to the hosted feature layer.
2. Set the new field with the Date data type. Do not set a default value to the new hosted feature layer.
3. Calculate the new field to equal the old field.
4. Delete the old field.
