Unable to create new features for ArcGIS Online layers containing a definition query in ArcGIS Pro regardless of whether the attribute values of the new features meet the requirements of the definition query.

Use the 'active template' to set the value before creating the row/feature, so that the attribute matches the definition query. ArcGIS Pro does not have access to this definition query and will not be able to query the feature during the update process, which is required in this scenario.Workaround
Remove the definition query applied in ArcGIS Pro and overwrite the existing feature layer in ArcGIS Pro. If required, apply a filter to the feature layer directly in Map Viewer instead of ArcGIS Pro.
