Unable to add content when the sharing level is set to Private in an ArcGIS StoryMaps collection.

Workaround

To add content to a collection with a Private sharing level, create a group with only the owner as a member and share the item(s) to the group. This allows adding content to the ArcGIS StoryMaps collection.
