Unable to activate ArcGIS Online subscriptions with new social login accounts (such as Google or Facebook). The error message "Error occurred while activating the subscription" or "There was an error with your organization activation. Contact Esri Customer Service for assistance" is returned.

Workaround

Contact Customer Service for assistance in generating a new ArcGIS Online subscription to activate and cancel the broken subscription.

When activating the new subscription, either:

• Do not use social login.
• Create a social login as a public user account first and choose the option to use an existing public account as the administrator of the new subscription. Log in with the existing social login public account.
