The webgisdr incremental backup fails after an ArcGIS Data Store failover.

Workaround

After receiving the error, "Cannot get ancestors in the response of the request," the user can instead create a full webgisdr backup successfully. After a full backup has been made, an incremental backup can also be created successfully. No additional change is to be made to the Portal for ArcGIS site or webgisdr files.
