The spatiotemporal big data store upgrade from 10.9.1 to 11.1 fails when the IP address is used as the host identifier.

Workaround

• Spoof the hostname for the spatiotemporal big data store machine(s) using any available method (like an etc/hosts file entry) and restart the ArcGIS Data Store service on the machine(s).
• Data Store should be working to allow the post-upgrade process to proceed.
