The Select by Attributes tool fails on a joined query layer when using an OS authenticated user that is not a member of the sysadmin role, and returns the following error message, "An Invalid SQL Statement Was Used".

Workaround

Option 1: This behavior is not reproducible when using a database user that is associated with a Windows login in SQL Server. The workflow is successful and a Select by Attributes can be done on the query layer.Option 2: This is not reproducible using a database authenticated user. When using a database authenticated user, this workflow is successful and a Select by Attributes can be done on the query layer.Option 3: This is not reproducible when using an OS Authenticated user that is a member of the sysadmin role. This workflow is successful and a Select by Attributes can be done on the query layer.
