The pop-up of a hosted feature layer, published to ArcGIS Online by using a zipped shapefile, displays incorrect values for the Shape_Area field when viewed in ArcGIS Pro.

The area and length fields exported to a shapefile become fields that the user must maintain. The system recognizes these fields as the user fields, as shapefiles do not maintain the area and length fields. The fields in the file geodatabase are system-maintained, as are the newly created fields in the feature service. When publishing these user-maintained fields from a zip file, the system does not update these values, only values in the newly created fields.Workaround
Following the same workflow as mentioned above, no errors are returned when using the WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere) projection. Publishing a layer (both feature class and shapefile) using the 'Share as web layer' option from ArcGIS Pro does not exhibit this issue.
