The Malwarebytes antivirus causes the active tool to be switched to a Rotate tool with no warning in ArcGIS Pro.

If rebooting the antivirus restores ArcGIS Pro functionality, then the antivirus software is the cause of the issue. Unfortunately, an antivirus program cannot be controlled from ArcGIS Pro. Configure the antivirus program for ArcGIS Pro to be on the approved list. If this is done and the issue continues, contact the antivirus company for further assistance resolving the issue.Workaround
- Close ArcGIS Pro.
- Restart the antivirus program.
- Open ArcGIS Pro again.
