Workaround

To ensure The Portal for ArcGIS home page header remains the same color as the style selected, follow these steps:

1. Click Edit home page.
2. Click the Header option.
3. Enable the Show Cover Photo option.
4. Click Layout Options and scroll to the bottom.
5. Under the title and logo placement, change the Position to cover image setting from middle of the cover image to Above the cover image from the drop-down menu.
6. Navigate back to the main Header settings page.
7. Disable Show cover image.
8. The header now displays with the correct color.
