The Find my location button of ArcGIS StoryMaps does not update the current location when the story is opened on an Android device.

This behavior is no longer reproducible on the reported Android device. Please ensure Google Chrome is allowed to access the location via the mobile device's Privacy > Location settings.

Workaround

Before pressing the Find my location button, disable the mobile device’s location and enable it to locate the current location.
