Bug

The Append Data Spatial Overlay tool fails with the error, "08001: External component has thrown an exception" when using any of the Consumer Spending variables with the apportionment method set to Hybrid in Esri Business Analyst 10.2.2 with 2013 and 2014 data.

Workaround

Switch the apportionment method from 'Hybrid' to 'Block Apportionment' in the Business Analyst Preferences > Data tab, and perform the append command.
