Workaround

Use the IMultiuserWorkspaceEdit interface to start the non-versioned workspace edit as shown on the following page.Editing with the geodatabase API <a href="http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcobjects-net/conceptualhelp/#/Editing_with_the_geodatabase_API/00010000010s000000/" target="_blank">http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcobjects-net/conceptualhelp/#/Editing_with_the_geodatabase_API/00010000010s000000/</a>As per the documentation, "non-versioned edit sessions do not support undo and redo operations". As such, there would be no need to use the edit operations.
