Sending emails fails in ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server when using an authenticated Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server.

Workaround

Add the string below to the end of the WorkflowManager.conf file in C:\ProgramData\esri\workflowmanager on the ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server machine, and restart Windows service for ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server.
