Bug

Running the Clip (Data Management) tool to clip a raster results in a raster in which the cells outside the clipped area have the value "0", as opposed to the expected value of "NoData". This occurs when the default Esri Grid format is not used as the output raster format.

Workaround

Use the default Esri Grid as the raster format of the tool output and then export the output raster to another raster format.
