Zusätzliche Informationen

The ArcMap Catalog window and ArcCatalog both have Location controls allowing the execution of requests made by users. Both of the desktop applications come with a separate Search window that can be optionally used to search for items. However, ArcGIS Pro is not designed the same way. In ArcGIS Pro, the Catalog view and the browse dialog box have both a Location control and a Search control that allow browsing to a specific location or searching for an item, respectively. Each control operates in a different way. In the Catalog view and the browse dialog box, pasting a file path into the Location box automatically browses to the file's location, if possible. If it is not possible to directly browse to the specified location but the location is accessible, a new folder connection is added if the Catalog Browsing options in the Options dialog box are configured to support this capability (this is the default behavior).  However, the Catalog pane is designed to have a Search control and does not have a Location control. Therefore, the behavior observed in the ArcMap Catalog window is not available in the ArcGIS Pro Catalog pane. The Search control does not behave in the same manner as the Location control. The Catalog pane is working correctly, and its behavior is documented at https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/projects/the-project-pane.htm.

Workaround

Paste the path in a catalog view.
