Numbers or coordinates with decimals from an Excel table are not recognized in ArcGIS Pro when created in other region with a different decimal separator.

Documentation states the field type specified in Excel is not used in determining the field type exposed in ArcGIS; the field type and values are entirely provided by the Microsoft client used to connect to the Excel files.Workaround
- Export the table to a CSV file.
- Create the table in Excel with a region that uses a point as the decimal separator.
