For this particular map document the outline width was set to 0. So it does not make any difference if the outline was set to Cartographic or Simple, it would not just draw. To make this problem go away, you could change the cartographic line symbol to simple line symbol. To do this1. Open Park layer properties 2. Go to Selection tab3. Edit the Selection symbol and go to the symbol Outline properties.4. Change the outline type from Cartographic line to Simple Line.Schritte zur Reproduzierung
