Workaround

1. Using 'Join field' instead of 'Add Join' (Alters the data)

• Join Field
• Select Layer by Attribute
• Select / Make Layer from Selected Features
• Feature Class to Feature Class

2. Export the joined feature class before creating the selection layer (Client currently uses this workaround)

• Add Join
• Feature Class to Feature Class
• Select Layer by Attribute
• Select / Make Layer from Selected Features
• Feature Class to Feature Class

* These workarounds might not be suitable options for user because the first one alters the data and the second one adds two extra steps to the workflow.
