Bug
In Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, the Configuring Direction setting in the District Lookup widget that uses the Routing Service for public with a specified limit usage redirects to the sign in page when the app is accessed over the link: www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?.

This update was documented for the July update. After further investigation on the development side, we are not going to take further steps to address this, as the recommended approach is to use the settings under subscriber content.Workaround
Configure the route service through the Attribute tab in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, where the subscriber content access can be added. See: Subscriber content access.
