In Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer, opening an attribute table and making a selection on all entities with the Shift key from the first entity to the last does not perform a selection on more than 100 entities.

This is a known limit of the attribute table in Map Viewer Classic based on the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (3.x version). As these are deprecated, no changes will be made to the application or SDK. However, it is possible to select more than 100 features in the attribute table in Map Viewer if the application based on the 4.x version of the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.Workaround
Using the Select widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
