In Portal for ArcGIS 10.5.1, the Story Map Journal is unable to be viewed by the user or publisher role when using Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA).

Workaround
Deploy the 10.6 Map Journal/Series template to the Portal for ArcGIS 10.5.1 machine:1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps on the Portal machine
2. Rename MapJournal to MapJournal_OLD (MapSeries to MapSeries_OLD)
3. Extract the 10.6 MapJournal.zip (MapSeries.zip) to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps, making sure the source contents are not in a nested folderThe 10.6 versions of the apps can be obtained from C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps\templatesrc from a 10.6 portal installation in-house.
