In Esri Business Analyst Web App, when adding a web map with a feature layer instead of adding the service itself, the map does not appear to contain data that can be used as variables to create a color-coded map or Smart Map Search.

There are some current known limitation for using Feature Service layers in Business Analyst Web. The ability to add feature service layers in Business Analyst Web was introduced in the most recent release and does not yet have the same functionality as adding Web Maps. We are working to improve the use of feature service layers in the next product release.Workaround
Add layers to the web map in ArcGIS Online using the 'Add Layer from Web' option, or browse for the layer in Business Analyst Online and add the feature services individually.Schritte zur Reproduzierung
