In ArcGIS Survey123 Connect and the ArcGIS Survey123 field app, calculations are not functioning for required questions within a repeat.

Workaround

1. Do not mark the question as required. It calculates and fills in a value if it is not required.
2. Select the Recalculate option next to the required question.
3. Add calculationMode=always to the bind::esri:parameters column.
