Workaround

There are two workarounds to resolve this issue.

Option 1

1. Create a new model, add a buffer, and right-click the Buffer tool.
2. From the context menu, select Create Variable, From Parameter, and Distance [Value or Field].
3. Use the Distance [Value or Field] variable as the model parameter.

Option 2

1. Create a new model, and add a buffer.
2. For the new variable, set the data type as Linear Unit or Field.
3. Connect the Linear Unit or Field variable as the buffer distance, and use it as the model parameter.
