Workaround

1. Add the feature class from the enterprise geodatabase to the map in ArcMap.
2. Apply the selection to the feature class and export the selected feature instead of creating a new layer from the selected features.
3. Add the exported features as a layer on the map and save the layer as an ArcMap document (.mxd).
4. Import the saved ArcMap document into ArcGIS Pro by going to the Insert tab and selecting Import Map.
