Workaround

  1. Copy and paste the image center coordinates from the ortho mapping workspace creation wizard, the Image Collection page, in a spreadsheet.
  2. Label the fields as 'Image', 'PerspectiveY', 'PerspectiveX', 'PerspectiveZ.'.
  3. Add fields 'Omega', 'Phi', 'Kappa', and populate them with the value 0.
  4. Add a raster field and populate it with the path to the images. For example, C:\Imagery\MunOfChester_To_ESRI\DJI_0438.JPG
  5. Save the file as a CSV file to a known location on the disk.
  6. From the ortho mapping workspace creation wizard, the Image Collection page, under Geolocation, click Import GPS File icon. This opens the Import Geolocation page.
  7. Click the Browse button under 'GPS/Orientation file', navigate to the disk and select the CSV file created above.
  8. Under Field Mappings, match Image ID with 'Raster', Latitude[Y] with 'PerspectiveY', Latitude[X] with 'PerspectiveX', and Altitude[Z] with 'PerspectiveZ'.
  9. Check the box next to Load orientation, then map the fields appropriately.
  10. Click OK. Save and close the Import Geolocation page. This returns to the Image Collection page. Continue with the workspace creation process.
