Workaround

There are two workarounds for this issue.

Workaround 1:

1. Add the WFS service through ArcGIS Online on the Content tab, click '+ New item' > click URL.
2. Configure the URL workflow in the New item dialog box.

Workaround 2:

1. Add the WFS service through ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic, click Add > Add Layer from Web.
2. Configure the Add Layer from Map workflow.

The service can then be opened and interacted with in Map Viewer.
