Enhancement request to update documentation for ArcGIS Server on Amazon EC2 (Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud). The process for stopping and restarting instances can be improved by utilizing the Amazon's EC2Configuration tool.

Works fine in 10.1 or later.Workaround
After testing ArcGIS Server works successfully, go into the EC2Configuration Settings and clear the option 'Set the computer name of the instance to ip<hex Internal IP> name. Disable this feature to persist your own computer setting.'After restarting the system and reassociating an Elastic IP, REST and accessing Server Manager should still be working.Schritte zur Reproduzierung
