Editing shapefile records from the attribute table while the labels are enabled on the map causes an unusual behavior for the newly added or updated records.

The issue is fixed with the new table control in ArcGIS Pro 2.8.

Workaround

  • Turn off the labels on the map.
  • Pause the labeling or pause the drawing.
