Workaround

• In the Catalog pane, right-click Databases (not a folder under Folders) and click New File Geodatabase.
• Do not open the previously saved project. Close the project and open ArcGIS Pro. On the start page, select 'Start without a template'.
• Create a new file geodatabase using the Create File Geodatabase geoprocessing tool.
