Copying and pasting data from Microsoft Excel into attribute tables in ArcGIS Pro removes the empty Microsoft Excel cells, resulting in the data not matching up.

Workaround

Fill all empty cells with a value that can be identified or ignored, or join the Microsoft Excel file to the feature class and use Calculate Field.
