Bug

Copying a feature dataset from a file to a PostgreSQL ArcSDE geodatabase corrupts the minimum or maximum z and m values in the feature Dataset, if a feature class without z- or m-values enabled is copied to the ArcSDE geodatabase first.

Workaround

Manually select the coordinate system instead of importing from a z-value enabled feature class.
