Certain workflows cause a "Unique Constraint (PK) Violated" error in SDE geodatabase if the feature classes/tables have been registered as versioned with the 'Move Edits to Base' option.

Workaround

1. Eliminate the intermediate versions and move to a completely flat version tree (where user would only have child versions off the SDE.DEFAULT version).Or2. Instruct the editors that a parent version may not be reconciled with SDE.DEFAULT until all of its child versions are first reconciled/posted and deleted.Or3. Use SDEGDBREPAIR to fix the duplicates from the problematic tables.
