At certain zoom levels, the label for the physical feature label for Fun Valley, CA, appears directly over the city of Sky Valley, potentially causing confusion.

No Change / "By Design" Fun Valley is a physical feature name (italic type on map) and Sky Valley is a populated place (appears on our map at larger scales). Sky Valley is a small (pop. under 2,500) census-designated place (data source classifies it as non-capital Hamlet) which based on the map's labeling criteria doesn’t warrant display on our topo map until the large scales of the map scale. Showing Fun Valley at smaller scales rather than Sky Valley matches other maps found in the AGOL basemap gallery and how they display Fun Valley at smaller scales before Sky Valley (e.g. USA Topo map).
