Workaround

1) Read README notes, then use appropriate toolbox and XSLT at the location identified below to change the value in the item's metadata that triggers the problem with the Scale Range slider on the Item Description page:<a href="file://archive/Nimbus/ArcGIS/Catalog/CatalogUI/Metadata/Editor/NIM089947/Workaround" target="_blank">\\archive\Nimbus\ArcGIS\Catalog\CatalogUI\Metadata\Editor\NIM089947\Workaround</a>2) If the original metadata was created in 9.x with the FGDC metadata editor, and if you haven't significantly edited the upgraded metadata in ArcGIS 10.x, you can re-upgrade the item's metadata using the Upgrade Metadata geoprocessing tool. This will cause you to lose any edits you had made since switching to ArcGIS 10. However, it will also resolve the problem if workaround #1 is unsuitable for some reason.
