A feature class created with ‘BASEMAPGRB’ as the configuration keyword using the Create Feature Class tool shows the storage type as ST_Geometry instead of SDO_Geometry.

Workaround

1. Open ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2.
2. Import the feature class as an XML workspace document in the geodatabase by selecting 'BASEMAPGRB' as the configuration keyword.
