Enhance the Printing Service to support printing symbology changes that are usually set to the service in Portal map viewer and result shown as "Override X" in the legend when printed.
This is possible. This would require a custom printing widget be created to submit the appropriate print request. That print request can include specialized symbology written according to the specification found here: https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/exportwebmap-specification.htm
1. Provide the appropriate/comparable step by step workflow to help illustrate the request.
The client is aware of this limit. But requested to enhance the printing service. The client is using a print service in Portal. After changing the symbology of a layer note and tend to print, the result of labelname turns to 'Override X'.
The user is aware of all closed bugs/enhancement but requested to consider this enhancement to improve the printing service.
This is related to the current known limit in Printing Service. Related to BUG-000094164, BUG-000099816, BUG-000086442, ENH-000089970. This enhancement request is to consider dealing with the symbology printing issue that generates "Override X" in legends.
2. What is the problem feature X is trying to solve? (i.e. What is the problem/limitation/design choice that is preventing the customer from moving forward?)
Solve the "Override X" printer issue.
3. What are the benefits or changes that would result from the enhancement? (i.e. How does making this change help the customer's workflow or business?)
Allowing users to print legends correctly and overcome "Override X" issue.
