Bug BUG-000096791
Synopsis
Exploding multipoint feature class output created by the Intersect tool by intersecting two line feature classes returns the error, "No multipart features selected" and fails to execute.
Additional Information
This is not a bug. The Explode tool analyzes the selected multipart point features from the Intersect tool output and finds that none of them have more than 1 part... so it has nothing to do. If the multipart points that are selected have more than 1 part, Explode has something to do and does it.
Alternate Solution
Use the 'Multipart to Singlepart' tool: - Input Feature - Line1_Intersect - Output Feature class - line2_Intersect1_MultipartTo
